Firefox 4 beta 7

Firefox 4 beta 7 adds graphics acceleration and a new Javascript engine

A new release of Firefox 4 beta has just been made available for download. It’s probably the release to bring the biggest performance improvement because it packs hardware graphics acceleration and the JagerMonkey just-in-time (JIT) JavaScript compiler.

That means faster start-up time, improved page-load speed and better performance of web apps and games.

Does this sound good enough to try a beta release? Follow this link then.

Official version will probabily appear early next year.

Sigh. I love the updates, but they usually involve things to stop working. At least on my linux partitions.
